Creamy Vegan Avocado Pesto
Easy creamy vegan avocado basil pesto sauce that is gluten-free, oil-free, and delicious!

- 1 cup packed fresh basil leaves
- 1 large ripe avocado
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp raw cashews
- 1 lemon juiced
- 1/4 cup water (plus more if necessary)
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
Start by adding all the ingredients into a food processor or blender
Blend or process on high until the pesto becomes smooth and creamy (add more water if needed)
Enjoy pesto with pasta, veggies, fish, steak, or chicken
Store leftover pesto in an air-tight container for up to one week
