Chocolate Peppermint Smoothie

Nothing beats holiday flavors and this combination of rich chocolate and refreshing peppermint in a healthy chocolate peppermint protein smoothie is a sip of holiday heaven.

Ingredients
  

Chocolate Peppermint Smoothie:

  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 frozen banana (frozen just yellow or slightly green)
  • 3/4 cup frozen cauliflower rice
  • 1-2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 serving chocolate of protein powder
  • 1 scoop collagen peptides (optional for extra protein)
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/4 tsp peppermint extract

Toppings (optional):

  • candy canes, peppermints, cacao nibs, and whipped cream for topping

Instructions
 

  • Slice and freeze a banana while still slightly green or just yellow to keep the smoothie from having a strong banana flavor
  • Add all ingredients into a high-powered blender and blend until smooth
  • Top with optional toppings and enjoy!
