Easy Cinnamon Apples

Healthy, quick, and easy cinnamon apples are made on the stovetop for a warm cozy fall dish with no added sugar.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 apples
  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 2-4 tbsp water

Instructions
 

  • Dice apples ( I leave the skin on to get more fiber and make it easier)
  • Add apples, juice of a lemon, water, and cinnamon to a pot and mix
  • Cook apples over medium-low with cover on for 5-10 minutes stirring occasionally and adding more water if needed
  • When the apples reach the desired softness, remove them from heat and store in apples in the fridge for up to 5 days.
