Healthy 5-minute Chia Jam

This 5-minute, chia seed jam recipe is refined-sugar free, easy to make, and thickened with chia seeds.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups frozen or fresh fruit any juicy fruit will work—berries, peaches, and more
  • 1 small lemon juiced
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup*
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions
 

  • Add fruit, lemon juice, and maple syrup to a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. 
  • Once the fruit starts to break down, add in the chia seeds.
  • You can stir or mash with a spoon, spatula, or fork until it reaches your desired consistency. 
  • Remove from heat. Jam will continue to thicken as it cools.
  • Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 10 days.
