Matcha Chocolate Chip Chia Pudding

If you love matcha and you love chocolate then this is the recipe for you. Matcha chocolate chip chia pudding is a creamy, satisfying, and energizing breakfast or snack that is made with matcha green tea powder, chia seeds, and chocolate.

Ingredients
  

Matcha Chia Pudding Layer:

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein

Chocolate yogurt Layer:

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (greek or dairy-free)
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

Toppings:

  • cacao nibs or mini chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • In a jar or container mix chia seeds, matcha, protein, and milk. Let thicken in the fridge for a few hours or overnight, and stir again before serving
  • In a jar or container mix plain yogurt of choice (both dairy-free or greek yogurt works) with vanilla protein and cacao powder and store in the fridge
  • Once chia seed pudding has thickened layer matcha chia seed pudding with the chocolate yogurt and then top with cacao nibs or mini chocolate chips
