What I eat in a day
What I eat in a day as a health coach to easily maintain my weight, have energy, and feel good in my body.
What meal plan should I follow? How many calories should I eat? Do I need to cut out carbs? Want to know what I eat in a day?
As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I am always getting asked what I eat. So as requested, here is what I eat in a day!
Everybody is bio-individual and based on your lifestyle, stress, activity, and even the season you may have different nutritional needs.
Breakfast
I wake up around 6:00 and always start my morning with a huge bottle of lemon water followed by a probiotic.
After my morning routine and a 45-minute weight lifting workout, I was ready to dig into breakfast.
I whipped up a warm bowl of protein oatmeal and topped it with all the goodies-bananas, frozen blueberries, and peanut butter!
Lunch
Breakfast kept me full and focused all morning so I was able to be productive and not watch the clock for lunchtime.
At 12:30 I decided to make lunch. I like to batch prep veggies and be able to use them in a variety of dishes throughout the week. I added a few colors to my plate then topped it with my healthy sloppy joes.
What’s on my plate: beets, roasted broccoli, green beans, and healthy sloppy joes.
Snacks
I find that if I don’t eat enough for breakfast or lunch I get super snacky and can’t focus. However, that doesn’t mean I don’t believe in snacks. It was a warm day so I had an iced matcha latte and one of my vegan chocolate chip pumpkin protein muffins to hold me over until dinner.
Dinner
I typically eat dinner around 6 that way I’m not starving and I noticed that eating late makes it difficult to fall asleep at night.
Meal-prepped veggies made this meal come together in just moments. I stuffed a coconut turmeric wrap with chicken meatballs, sautéed onions, more roasted broccoli, and drizzled Trader Joe’s spicy cashew dressing on top. On the side, I had sauteed cabbage and cinnamon roasted baby carrots.
Dessert
I believe in balanced eating and no food is off-limits. I almost always have some form of chocolate. Today it was a square of dark chocolate topped with peanut butter and coconut butter-such a treat!
Are you a snacker? Do you eat chocolate everyday too?
