Easy Creamy Collagen Iced Matcha Latte

An easy, creamy iced matcha latte that is made with simple ingredients in the blender for easy clean-up. This matcha latte is the perfect afternoon pick-me-up that you can make at home. 


I used to think I didn’t like matcha, but I learned that, if you prepare it right, it tastes amazing. Matcha is great for when my anxiety creeps up and I need to reduce caffeine. However, those matcha lattes from cute coffee shops are filled with so much sugar! I wanted to create a healthy version of an iced matcha latte you can make at home.

There are so many fancy matcha lattes out there, and though I am all about romanticizing your life, this easy, creamy matcha latter is my go-to. It is simply delicious, and there aren’t any extra steps or dirty dishes. I like to enjoy my iced matcha latte in the sunshine with a protein bite for the perfect afternoon pick-me-up!

  • You can also substitute with canned coconut milk by using 1/4 canned coconut milk and 3/4 cup water.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup plant-based milk cashew, coconut, or almond all work well
  • 1 tsp matcha powder*
  • 1 scoop collagen peptides optional
  • 1 date make sure to remove the seed
  • lots of ice

Instructions
 

  • Slice the date in half and remove the seed.
  • Add milk, date, matcha, and collagen peptides to a blender.
  • Blend until frothy.
  • Add ice to the glass and pour matcha over the ice.
  • Enjoy!
