Healthy Air-Fried Breakfast Banana Split
Dive into this air-fried breakfast banana split that is high in protein and makes for a balanced breakfast that tastes like dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 2 tbsp nut or seed butter
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 scoop vanilla protein
- 2-4 strawberries
- cinnamon
Instructions
- Slice banana lengthwise making sure to not cut through the bottom peel
- Slightly open the banana to form a pocket
- Spread nut butter in the middle of banana slices
- Sprinkle on chocolate chips
- Air-fry in an air-fryer at 400 degrees for 5-12 minutes until the banana has blackened and the middle becomes melty and caramelized (cooking time varies with different types of air fryers)
- While the banana is cooking mix plain yogurt with vanilla protein and slice strawberries
- Remove banana from the air fyer and top with yogurt, strawberries, and a sprinkle of cinnamon
