Cabbage Roll Soup

Ingredients

avocado oil
1
sweet onion chopped

cloves
garlic (or 1 tbsp minced garlic)

red bell peppers chopped

chopped green cabbage
1 1/2
lbs
ground beef or bison

can
diced fire-roasted tomatoes

can
tomato sauce

cup
beef broth or beef bone broth
3/4
cup
white rice

tbsp
coconut sugar (or brown sugar)

tbsp
basil
1
tbsp
oregano
1-2
tsp
paprika (to your taste)
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Chop onion, garlic, pepper, and green cabbage
Heat a large pot to medium
Add oil to pot and saute onion, pepper, and garlic until soft
Add ground beef and cook until browned
Stir in green cabbage and let soften for a few minutes (2-3)
A tomatoes, broth, spices, and rice to the pot and stir to combine
Cover and let simmer for 25-30 minutes until rice is fully cooked
