Cinnamon Apple Yogurt Toast
Sauteed cinnamon apples with creamy yogurt topped on toast for the best cozy-inspired toast. Perfect for a delicious healthy breakfast or snack to keep you fueled.
Cinnamon Apples 4 apples 1-2 tsp cinnamon 1 lemon juiced 3-4 tbsp water Cinnamon Apple Yougrt Toast 1 slice bread 2 tbsp plain yogurt cinnamon apples 1/2-1 tsp honey (optinal) 1-2 tsp hemp hearts
Cinnamon Apples Dice apples ( I leave the skin on to get more fiber and make it easier)
Add apples, juice of a lemon, water, and cinnamon to a small pot and mix
Cook apples over medium-low with cover on for 5-10 minutes stirring occasionally and adding more water if needed
When apples reach the desired softness, remove from heat and store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Cinnamon Apple Toast Toast your bread
Spread a layer of plain yogurt on toast
Top with warm cinnamon apples (freshly made or warmed up)
Drizzle honey if desired
Top with hemp hearts or a drizzle of nut butter
