I like chocolate oranges better than chocolate strawberries and that is saying something. They are a healthy dessert that is gluten-free, dairy-free, and takes just minutes to make. I think they also taste great frozen if you want to pop them in the freezer until frozen.

Chocolate Covered Oranges are made with:

- Shredded coconut is optional, feel free to just add the salt or sprinkle on crushed nuts
- You can store in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 4 days

Chocolate Covered Oranges

Ingredients
- 2-4 oranges (depending on the size) I like mandarin oranges, sumo mandarins, or clementines.
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp flaky sea salt
- optional: shredded coconut or chopped pistachios
Instructions
- Peel the oranges and breaking apart the slices. Place them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet or large plate.
- Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small dish for 30-second intervals until melted
- Dip 1/2 orange into chocolate then set on a lined tray
- Once all oranges have been dipped in chocolate sprinkle salt and optional shredded coconut or chopped pistaschios
- Place in fridge or freezer to allow the chocolate to harden
