Is Intermittent Fasting Right for You

What are the pros and cons of intermittent fasting and will it help you reach your health and weight loss goals? Intermittent fasting is it worth the hype?

First, let’s cover the basics. Intermittent fasting (IF) is not a diet. This is an eating pattern that can be used to improve health or for fat loss.

It does not specify the foods you should eat but when you should eat. IF is used to limit the hours you eat to a certain time window.

There are many different time windows but one of the most common is 16-8. Fasting for 16 hours and eating for 8. However, studies show that the benefits IF work with smaller fasting winders such as a 12-12 fast. Many women struggle with a longer fasting window and do better with 12-14 hour fast.

This is very specific to your body and metabolism. Pay attention to how your body responds to all the changes and make them according to YOU.
