Glowing Green Protein Smoothie

You will love Glowing Green Protein Smoothie because:

  • Glowing green smoothie is a healthy green protein smoothie that makes a great breakfast or snack
  • Is an easy way to get in more greens and veggies in your day
  • Vegan, gluten-free, plant-based, and high-protein recipe
  • Filling and blood-sugar balancing
  • A balanced smoothie with protein, fat, and fiber
  • Hidden veggies to add a boost of nutrients

Glowing Green Protein Smoothie is made with:

  • Coconut milk: Adds healthy fats to keep you full and balance blood sugar
  • Water: I use water in this recipe but you could also use your favorite plant-based milk
  • Mango: frozen mango makes this smoothie sweet and so creamy
  • Frozen zucchini slices: hidden veggies you will never taste but adds bulk, nutrients, and creaminess to the smoothie
  • Frozen spinach: extra hidden veggies and nutrients
  • Ground flaxseed: to boost the nutrition and add extra fiber
  • Protein Powder: Vanilla protein to add a little sweetness, flavor, and extra protein
  • Collagen peptides: adds unflavored protein with the benefits of collagen peptides
  • Spirulina: a superfood that gives this smoothie its green glow and is rich in vitamins and antioxidants

Recipe Tips:

  • Smoothies always need toppings in my opinion so top with cereal, granola, coconut flakes, or any of your favorites
  • If you are vegan leave out the collagen peptides and use a whole scoop of vanilla protein
  • The frozen fruit and veggies keep this smoothie thick and creamy
  • If you don’t have flaxseed feel free to skip or substitute hemp seeds or chia seeds
  • If you don’t have spirulina you can leave it out, but it adds nutrition and makes the green smoothie so vibrant
  • I use canned light coconut milk or you can use 1 cup coconut milk from a carton and reduce the water
