  • Zucchini or riced cauliflower: excellent source of vitamin C, reduces inflammation, aids in digestion, and adds bulk to the smoothie

Recipe Tips:

  • Depending on your taste preference you might like less or more turmeric, I suggest trying 1/2 teaspoon and adding more to your taste
  • I like to wash and slice zucchini then place them on a lined baking pan and freeze then store them in a bag in the freezer to have on hand for smoothies
  • Swap frozen riced cauliflower for frozen zucchini slices depending on what you have on hand
  • Make sure to use a vanilla protein powder you enjoy the taste of check out this post for a list of my favorite protein powders
  • This smoothie also is great with 1/2 cup frozen pineapple and 1/2 frozen mango in place of the 1 cup frozen mango

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 3/4 cup frozen riced cauliflower or zucchini slices
  • 1 serving vanilla protien powder
  • 1/2-1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • water and ice as needed

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender
  • Blend until smooth and creamy adding ice or more liquid if needed
  • Add to a glass or bowl and top with any toppings of choice and enjoy

  • granola
  • cereal
  • coconut flakes
  • coconut yogurt
  • cacao nibs
