Key Lime Pie Protein Smoothie is made with:

Recipe Tips:

- I like to use 1/2 scoop of vegan vanilla protein and 1 scoop of collagen peptides for my protein
- Peel, slice, and freeze bananas when they just turn yellow or are slightly green to get the creaminess without banana flavor. Green bananas also have many health benefits that you can read about here

Key Lime Pie Protein Smoothie
This healthy key lime pie protein smoothie tastes like dessert and is creamy, tangy, delicious, and will support healthy skin and gut.
Ingredients
- 1 cup coconut milk (or other plant-based milk)
- 1 lime juice
- 1 small frozen banana (best if just yellow or even slightly green before frozen)
- 3/4 cup frozen zucchini slices
- 1/2 cup frozen spinach
- 1 tbsp ground flax or chia seeds (optional)
- 1 scoop vanilla protien
- 1/2-1 tsp spirulina (optional)
- water and ice as needed
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to the blender in the order listed and blend till smooth.
- Feel free to add topping if desired. I added some grain-free cinnamon cereal and unsweetened coconut flakes to top it off.
