Home Workout Routine: Bulldog Yoga Review

Yoga is more than deep breathing and downward-facing dog, with Bulldog Yoga you get a true workout and a wide variety of yoga classes to meet your fitness level.

Most of us have tried or been forced to try home workouts over the past couple of years. I used to think that an effective workout had to be at a gym or followed by cardio. I never dreamed that I could do challenging workouts from home. Now, I love home workouts and the flexibility of being able to work out without driving to a gym.

Over the past six months, I have been moving cross country and building a home.  I have lived in two different time zones and three different cities. During this time I started using the  Bulldog Yoga app to be able to take classes at any time, any place, and any space.

Wide variety of classes and styles

There is truly a class for everyone, every mood, and every schedule. Bulldog bites for shorter classes, slow flow for when you need to destress, beginner tutorials, plus plenty of HITT, Bootcamp, or sculpt classes that are challenging and require both strength and endurance.

Motivational and music

The one thing I missed about working out at a studio or gym was the motivational atmosphere. Bulldog Yoga has high-energy classes with the best playlist to keep you motivated and push yourself to go all out. They even have a schedule of live stream classes you can attend throughout the week.

Cycle sync workouts

My favorite fitness trend is cycle syncing my workouts to work out smarter, not harder. With Bulldog yoga you are able to take a stretch, low impact cardio, or slow flow class with your menstrual or luteal phase and when your energy is high you can take a HIIT or power yoga class. There are classes to fit all four phases of a women’s cycle.

Meditation

Workouts are a mood booster and stress reliever, but I like to also add in meditation for my mind to get focused, reduce anxiety, and relax. Bulldog Yoga offers guided meditations for the morning, night, walking, and an introduction to mediation.

Cost

Belonging to a studio can be pricey, especially when you like a variety of classes and end up going to multiple studios. Bulldog Yoga has an affordable monthly or yearly subscription that is like belonging to multiple studios with all the class options available. Sign up for your free 30-day membership here

Final Thoughts

As someone who has tried countless classes and gyms, I have high expectations for a workout and have found Bulldog Yoga classes to be both challenging and fun. I love that I don’t have to schedule my busy day around trying to make it to my favorite workout class.

I like the Bulldog Yoga app and recommend it to my clients because it adds structure to home workouts and keeps them effective in minimal time. You can even take a workout quiz to get a personalized workout plan sent to you!

Yoga has become one of my favorite workouts because there are classes to fit all of my fitness moods. Every yoga class I take I feel like I am learning something new and consistently improving my form. I enjoy the instructors at Bulldog because they give great cues that help me with my form as well as modifications.
