  • Fruit-optional if you like the sweetness in your salad berries, apples, and other fruits can be a great addition

  • Complex carbs-think quinoa, sweet potatoes, lentils, or beans
  • Healthy fats-nuts, seeds, avocado
  • Dressing
  • The extras-a dollop of hummus, squeeze of lemon or lime, salt and pepper
