- Makes an easy and festive healthy breakfast or snack

Gingerbread Protein Smoothie is made with:
- Protein: provides satiety and helps to balance blood sugar
- Riced Cauliflower: excellent source of vitamin C, reduces inflammation, aids in digestion, and adds bulk to the smoothie
- Banana: I like to use a slightly green frozen banana because they are lower in sugar than yellow bananas, supports gut health, high in fiber, high in resistant starch, but any banana works
- Almond Butter: good source of minerals and is a healthy fat to fill you up and balance blood sugar
- Blackstrap molasses: lower sugar content and contains vitamins and minerals
- Cinnamon: anti-inflammatory and can lower blood sugar levels

Recipe Tips:
- Peel, slice, and freeze bananas while they are still a little green to get the creaminess without the banana flavor. Green bananas also have many health benefits that you can read about here.
- Top smoothie with granola, cacao nibs, or whip cream to make it fun and festive
