I bought peppermint extract for some holiday recipes so I decided to make vanilla peppermint iced matcha and now I am hooked. This Christmas latte is easy to make and can be enjoyed hot or iced. Enjoy this healthy holiday latte that is gluten-free, dairy-free, and absolutely delicious.

Vanilla Peppermint Matcha Latte

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla protein
  • 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1/4 cup hot water

Instructions
 

Whisk option

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup hot water and matcha powder until it is smooth and lump free
  • Combine milk, vanilla protein, and peppermint extract and froth with a handheld frother or blend in a blender to froth
  • Fill a glass with ice and pour 3/4 of the frothed milk over top, pour matcha, and top with the rest of the milk

Blender option

  • Add milk, peppermint extract, vanilla protein, water, and matcha to a blender
  • Blend until combined and lump-free
